(WNY News Now) – On June 1, 2025, Caleb J. Link, 29, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Lakeview Avenue near Crossman Street.
At approximately 1:39 AM on June 1, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s third platoon stopped a vehicle on Lakeview Avenue near Crossman Street after observing a traffic violation. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Caleb J. Link, was investigated for suspected impaired driving.
The investigation determined Link was operating the vehicle under the influence, with a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) measured at or above .18, which qualifies as aggravated driving while intoxicated. Link was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
Charges against Link include aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated, and a traffic citation. He was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
