(WNY News Now) – Buffalo Street in Jamestown has been closed from 2nd St. to Allen St. as police after a semi truck seemingly got stuck under a railroad underpass.
Jamestown, N.Y. – The City of Jamestown has sent out notice that a portion of Buffalo Street, from 2nd Street to Allen Street, has been closed following a vehicular accident.
A semi truck appears to have become lodged underneath the railroad underpass, causing the closure of the road as police and city officials work to clear the obstruction.
The closure is expected to last all day and is in effect until further notice. Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes. The City of Jamestown appreciates your understanding as work crews work diligently to address the situation.
