(WNY News Now) – On June 4, 2025, Jonathan O. Barnes, 47, of Mayville, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt following an order of protection violation in the Town of Chautauqua.
Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an order of protection violation on June 4, 2025, at approximately 10:25 p.m. in the Town of Chautauqua. Upon investigation, Jonathan O. Barnes was charged with criminal contempt in the second degree.
Barnes was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Chautauqua Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
