(WNY News Now) – HANOVER, N.Y. — A 19-year-old Dunkirk man is facing multiple charges following an early morning traffic stop on Route 20 in the Town of Hanover on June 4, 2025.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle at approximately 2:26 a.m. for an alleged traffic violation. During the stop, deputies determined that the driver, identified as Dwayne K. White, was operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
White was charged with Speed in Zone, Driving While Intoxicated, and Driving While Intoxicated Per Se.
He was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to answer the charges in Hanover Town Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
