(WNY News Now) – Stanley M. Walk, 29, was taken into custody early Monday morning following a police response to a report of a person with a weapon on Jamestown’s North Side.
On June 16, 2025, at approximately 12:08 AM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a North Side address after receiving reports of a person armed with a weapon. Upon arrival, officers encountered several individuals outside the location.
During the initial contact, officers observed Stanley M. Walk, a 29-year-old Jamestown resident, conceal himself behind a bush before stepping back into view. A search of the immediate area led to the recovery of a ghost firearm equipped with a high-capacity feeding device and a modification enabling fully automatic fire.
Walk was promptly arrested without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He faces multiple charges, including two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree and four counts in the Third Degree.
He is currently held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
