(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY — On June 10, 2025, a routine traffic stop on Bowen Street at Newton Avenue resulted in the arrest of three Jamestown residents on drug-related charges, Jamestown Police Department reports.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon stopped a vehicle for observed traffic infractions. The occupants were identified as Alexander L. Digirolamo, Kayla M. Lutgen, and Danielle D. Middaugh. During the stop, officers observed a mason jar containing 26.3 grams of methamphetamine in plain view near Digirolamo.
A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed additional packaging materials and a digital scale with powdered residue. All three individuals were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
Further inventory at the jail uncovered an additional quantity of methamphetamine in Digirolamo’s possession, while Lutgen was found with an additional amount of fentanyl. Middaugh was also charged with possession of a controlled substance and use of drug paraphernalia.
Charges filed include:
- Alexander L. Digirolamo: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd and 4th degrees, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.
- Kayla M. Lutgen: Two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.
- Danielle D. Middaugh: Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree, and Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree.
All three individuals remain held at Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
