Police say suspect made verbal threats to protected party during north side incident

(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police have arrested 30-year old Aaron Johnson for allegedly making verbal threats toward a female victim with an order of protection against him.

On the morning of June 16, 2025, officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported domestic dispute at a residence on the city’s north side. Following an on-scene investigation, 30-year-old Jamestown resident Aaron Johnson was arrested for allegedly making verbal threats toward a female victim.

According to police, the victim is listed as a protected party in an active order of protection against Johnson. Authorities determined that his actions constituted a violation of that order.

Johnson was taken into custody without incident and charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree and Harassment in the Second Degree. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
