(WNY News Now) – A 42-year-old woman was arrested Saturday morning following an alleged shoplifting incident at the Walmart Supercenter in Allegany.
ALLEGANY, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of Christine M. Walker, 42, in connection with a petit larceny incident that occurred on June 14, 2025, at the Walmart Supercenter located at 1869 Plaza Drive.
According to deputies, Walker was taken into custody at approximately 11:25 a.m. after she was allegedly caught stealing merchandise from the store. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Substation in Olean, where she underwent arrest processing.
Following the incident, Walker was released with an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to answer the charge in Allegany Town Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
