A traffic stop in Olean led to the arrest of a local man wanted on multiple warrants, including a felony charge.
(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 36-year-old Adonis L. Linder following a traffic stop on Route 16 in the early morning hours of June 14, 2025.
According to authorities, deputies conducted a routine traffic stop at approximately 12:38 a.m. in the City of Olean. During the stop, Linder—identified as a passenger in the vehicle—was found to have an active felony arrest warrant issued by the City of Olean Police Department. Additionally, he was wanted on a separate family court warrant from the Erie County Sheriff’s Office.
Linder was taken into custody without incident and subsequently turned over to the Olean Police Department for processing on their charges. He was held pending arraignment. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
