Police allege suspect illegally entered victim’s home and caused property damage.

(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – A 57-year-old Jamestown man is facing multiple charges following a domestic-related incident that occurred around noon on June 20, 2025, at a northside residence.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the First Platoon responded to a report of a past domestic dispute at approximately 12:00 PM. While on scene, the suspect, identified as Mark J. Riolo, arrived and questioned the victim about the police presence.

Further investigation revealed that Riolo had unlawfully entered both the victim’s garage and home, where he allegedly caused significant property damage and took items from the premises. Officers arrested Riolo at the scene.

He was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, Petit Larceny, Burglary in the Third Degree, and Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree. Riolo was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is currently awaiting arraignment in City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
