(WNY News Now) – Jamestown police arrested a 42-year-old woman for unlawfully entering a condemned residence on the city’s Northside.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – On the morning of June 26, 2025, Jamestown Police officers from the 1st Platoon responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a Northside address around 8:05 a.m.

During the investigation, officers observed a woman exiting through a boarded-up window of a neighboring condemned property. The individual was identified as Chelline M. Occhipinti, a 42-year-old homeless woman.

Occhipinti was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor under New York State law. She was transported to Jamestown City Jail and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
