(WNY News Now) – Town of Ellicott Police charged a Jamestown man with second-degree menacing after responding to a weapons complaint at Falconer Park.

On June 18, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the Town of Ellicott Police Department responded to a report of a person with a weapon involved in a dispute.

Officers investigated the incident and allege that 24-year-old Cameron S. Davis of Jamestown displayed what appeared to be a handgun during the altercation. Davis was located shortly afterward at Falconer Park.

Further examination revealed the weapon to be a BB gun. Davis was taken into custody without incident and charged with menacing in the second degree.

He was released at the scene with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer to the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
