(WNY News Now) – On July 5, 2025, at approximately 8:00 p.m., Scott A. Dickerson, 57, of Panama, was charged with second-degree criminal contempt by Town of Ellicott Police.

Officers responded to a report of an unwanted person at a residence in the Village of Celoron. It was alleged that Dickerson entered the home of a victim who had an active stay-away order of protection against him. Following his arrest, Dickerson was taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

He is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to face the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
