Police say 43-year-old Brandon White fled during a domestic dispute call and was found in possession of suspected cocaine.

(WNY News Now) – DUNKIRK, N.Y. – A Buffalo man was arrested on drug charges and an outstanding parole warrant following a brief foot pursuit in Dunkirk on Friday evening, July 4.

According to the Dunkirk Police Department, officers responded at approximately 7:56 p.m. to a reported domestic dispute in progress near Central Avenue and East 4th Street, directly in front of police headquarters. Upon arrival, a male suspect fled on foot, prompting a short pursuit by officers.

The suspect was quickly apprehended and identified as 43-year-old Brandon White of Buffalo. Police say a bag containing approximately 4.2 grams of suspected cocaine was found on White at the time of his arrest.

White was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Fifth Degree (a Class D felony) and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree (a Class A misdemeanor).

Following processing, White was issued appearance tickets and subsequently turned over to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office due to an active parole warrant.









He is scheduled to appear in Dunkirk City Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
