Police respond to trespass report, find two men inside condemned residence on city’s north side.

(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY – On the evening of July 21, 2025, two men were arrested for criminal trespass after Jamestown police discovered them inside a condemned property on the city’s north side.

At approximately 7:11 p.m., officers from the Second Platoon of the Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported trespass at a residence that had been officially condemned by the City of Jamestown Department of Development. Upon arrival, officers confirmed the building was not fit for occupancy.

Inside the structure, police located 33-year-old Tyler P. Brown and 34-year-old Jordan T. Austin. Both men were taken into custody without incident.

Brown and Austin were transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where they are being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. They are each charged with Criminal Trespass in the Second Degree, a class A misdemeanor under New York State law. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
