(WNY News Now) – A 32-year-old Kiantone woman is facing multiple charges, including felony DWI under Leandra’s Law, following a reported fight at a Jamestown business.

JAMESTOWN – On Sunday, July 27, 2025, at approximately 11:05 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon responded to a report of a fight at a southside business.

According to police, Racheal L. Waldron, a 32-year-old resident of Kiantone, NY, became upset when her order was refused at the business as it was closing for the night. Authorities say Waldron allegedly spit in the face of an employee, sparking a physical altercation.

Upon arrival, officers found Waldron in a vehicle in the business’s parking lot. After conducting standardized field sobriety tests, officers determined that Waldron was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Two juveniles were reportedly in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Waldron was arrested and charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), two counts of Aggravated DWI under Leandra’s Law (a felony), and Harassment in the Second Degree.

She was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
