(WNY News Now) – Deputies arrested a 43-year-old woman after she was allegedly found driving intoxicated with a child under 16 in the vehicle.

TOWN OF CHAUTAUQUA – A Little Valley woman is facing multiple charges, including felony aggravated DWI, after allegedly driving intoxicated with a child in her vehicle on Sunday afternoon.

On July 27, 2025, at approximately 4:39 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an erratic driver on Route 394 in the Town of Chautauqua. According to the complaint, a blue SUV was observed swerving and turning without signaling.

Deputies located the vehicle as it turned onto David Road and confirmed its identity through the license plate. A traffic stop was conducted on Davis Road, where deputies identified the driver as Hanna G. Brown, 43, of Little Valley.

Following a roadside investigation, Brown was taken into custody and charged with driving while intoxicated (DWI), felony aggravated DWI per se with a child under 16, unsafe lane change, and failure to signal.

Brown was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment in the Town of Chautauqua Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
