(WNY News Now) – Jamestown police arrested 34-year-old Jacquelyn C. Hayes early Tuesday morning at a North Main Street convenience store on multiple drug-related charges and active warrants.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On July 29, 2025, at approximately 3:07 a.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Third Platoon conducted a street check near the 7-Eleven located at 518 North Main Street. During the patrol, officers identified Jacquelyn C. Hayes, 34, of Jamestown, who was found to have outstanding warrants from the Lakewood Busti Police Department and the Town of Ellicott Police Department.
A subsequent search of Hayes revealed a substantial amount of cocaine, digital scales, and packaging materials commonly associated with drug distribution. She was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, and two counts of Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia in the second degree.
Hayes was transported to the Jamestown City Jail where she is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
