Ryan Puccinelli taken into custody in Olean; held pending extradition to McKean County
(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, NY — A 36-year-old Olean man was arrested late Thursday night on a Fugitive of Justice charge after authorities discovered he was wanted in Pennsylvania.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Ryan O. Puccinelli was taken into custody on July 24, 2025, at approximately 11:53 p.m. near 901 E. State Street in the City of Olean. Deputies initially observed Puccinelli walking in front of State King when they determined he had an active extraditable warrant out of McKean County, Pennsylvania.
Following his arrest, Puccinelli was transported to the City of Olean Court for a Fugitive of Justice hearing. He was subsequently remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he remains in custody pending extradition proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
