Deputies stop vehicle on Rt. 60 and charge driver with DWI and traffic violation.

(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, NY — A Jamestown woman was arrested late Sunday night following a traffic stop on Route 60 in the Town of Ellicott.

According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted the stop around 11:51 p.m. on August 3, 2025. The driver, identified as 37-year-old Natacha J. Pizarro Campos, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated.

Following an investigation, Pizarro Campos was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI Per Se (having a blood alcohol concentration of .08% or higher), and Failure to Keep Right.

She was issued appearance tickets and is expected to appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
