(WNY News Now) – On the evening of August 9, 2025, deputies responded to a motor vehicle accident on Dean School Road in the Town of Ellington, New York.
The driver, 28-year-old Maiker E. Anderson Blanca of Jamestown, was found to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Authorities reported that Anderson Blanca was charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), moving from lane unsafely, and failing to keep right.
Following the accident, Anderson Blanca was transported to UPMC Chautauqua for treatment of injuries sustained. He is expected to face the charges in Town of Ellington Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
