(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown man is facing multiple charges after police responded to a reported domestic incident on the city’s south side Tuesday morning.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the First Platoon were dispatched to a south side residence on August 19, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m. for a report of a physical domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, officers made contact with 22-year-old Devyn I. Logan, a Jamestown resident. Following an investigation, police determined that Logan had allegedly been involved in a physical altercation with a victim in the presence of a child.

Logan was taken into custody at the scene and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree.

Police said Logan is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
