(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown man was taken into custody late Wednesday night after police responded to a domestic dispute on the city’s east side.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the Second Platoon responded to an Eastside residence around 10:19 p.m. on August 27, 2025. Upon arrival, officers made contact with 23-year-old Dakota A. Martin.
During the on-scene investigation, police determined that Martin had allegedly caused damage to property belonging to the victim. He was arrested without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.
Martin is charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
