(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. — A Salamanca man was taken into custody on Monday afternoon after deputies identified him walking on Sycamore Avenue with an active probation violation warrant.

According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested 47-year-old Gordan M. Sullivan Jr. at approximately 3:47 p.m. on September 1, 2025. Sullivan Jr. was wanted on a probation violation warrant issued out of Cattaraugus County.

Deputies transported Sullivan Jr. directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
