(WNY News Now) – CELORON, N.Y. — A late-night garage fire in the Village of Celoron has been linked to a malfunctioning lithium-ion battery, according to investigators.

The incident occurred around 12:17 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 22 West 9th Street. The Celoron Fire Department, along with several mutual aid departments, responded to reports of a structure fire and quickly worked to bring the flames under control.
