(WNY News Now) – LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. — A Salamanca woman is facing multiple charges following an early morning arrest in the Village of Little Valley that left a police officer injured.

According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrested 27-year-old Jade A. Vincent at approximately 2:06 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2025, after responding to a fight on Main Street.

During the incident, Vincent allegedly resisted arrest and attempted to assault a police officer, resulting in injuries to the officer. Emergency medical personnel treated the officer at the scene, and the injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening. The officer was later able to return to duty.

Vincent was charged with attempted assault on a police officer, criminal obstruction of breathing, disorderly conduct, assault in the third degree, resisting arrest, and attempted criminal mischief in the third degree.

Following her arrest, Vincent was processed and arraigned in the Town of Little Valley Court, where she was released under supervision. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
