Deputies Issue Appearance Tickets After Controlled Substance Arrests on Interstate 86

(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of three men following a traffic stop on Interstate 86 in the City of Salamanca late Wednesday night.

According to deputies, the stop occurred on September 10, 2025, at about 10:01 p.m. Patrol officers took Larry D. Brown, 50, of Buffalo, Berry Armprester, 58, of Olean, and Donald E. Brundage, 45, of Olean into custody on multiple drug-related charges.

Deputies said Brown and Armprester were each charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree, while Brundage was charged with four counts of the same offense.

All three individuals were transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released with appearance tickets. They are scheduled to answer the charges in court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
