(WNY News Now) – NEWFANE, N.Y. – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Gowanda man on multiple active bench warrants.
On September 17, 2025, at approximately 5:07 p.m., deputies took Joshua R. Pettygrove, 36, into custody at a residence on William Street in Newfane. Authorities say Pettygrove was wanted on two active bench warrants issued through Cattaraugus County Court.
Following his arrest, Pettygrove was transported directly to the Cattaraugus County Jail. He will remain in custody pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
