(WNY News Now) – SALAMANCA, N.Y. — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that a Salamanca man was taken into custody on two active bench warrants on Friday, September 19, 2025.
According to Sheriff Eric A. Butler, deputies arrested 39-year-old Andrew Jaquish at approximately 10:29 a.m. at 1 Barrett Drive in Salamanca. Authorities said the arrest was made in cooperation with the Salamanca Police Department.
Jaquish was transported from the Salamanca Police Department to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
