(WNY News Now) – Syracuse, NY — A 46-year-old man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after a stabbing early Wednesday morning, Syracuse police report.
Officers responded at approximately 12:34 a.m. on October 1, 2025, to University Hospital, 750 East Adams Street, following the victim’s arrival. The man sustained a stab wound to the groin and is expected to recover.
Authorities believe the incident occurred in the 300 block of West Matson Avenue. The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to contact the Syracuse Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division at (315) 442-5222.
