(WNY News Now) – ELLICOTT, N.Y. — A Falconer man has been arrested following an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse involving a child under the age of 11, according to the Town of Ellicott Police Department.
Police report that 32-year-old Ryan J. Spinler was charged with first-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child on October 1, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The charges stem from a complaint in which it was alleged that Spinler touched the intimate parts of the victim on more than one occasion. Following the investigation, Spinler was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment.
Authorities stated that Spinler is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
