(WNY News Now) – MANSFIELD, N.Y. — A Little Valley man is facing charges after a motor vehicle accident led to a DWI arrest on Route 242 in the Town of Mansfield Sunday afternoon.

According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the scene around 4:05 p.m. on October 12, 2025, to investigate a reported crash. Following the investigation, 31-year-old Jordan T. O’Brien was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (with a prior offense within 10 years), Speed Not Reasonable and Prudent, and Refusal to Take a Breath Test.

O’Brien was processed at the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office and released with an appearance ticket for a future court date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
