(WNY News Now) – FREDONIA, N.Y. — A Buffalo man is facing multiple charges after a traffic stop in the Village of Fredonia early Saturday morning led to a driving while intoxicated arrest.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies conducted a traffic stop on East Main Street around 1:20 a.m. on October 25, 2025. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Roland M. Davis of Buffalo, was allegedly found to be operating his vehicle while intoxicated.
Following an investigation, Davis was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Unlicensed Operator, and Speed in Zone. He was later released and is scheduled to appear in Fredonia Village Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
