(WNY News Now) – A Dunkirk woman was taken into custody after allegedly damaging property, stealing a camera, and entering a vehicle without permission.
DUNKIRK, N.Y. — The Dunkirk Police Department arrested 36-year-old Christina Marrero of Dunkirk following a reported disturbance on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at around 6:56 p.m.
According to police, officers from the 3–11 p.m. patrol shift responded to a residence in the city after receiving reports of a female breaking items on a front porch and attempting to gain entry into the home. Upon arrival, officers observed Marrero walking off the porch.
An investigation determined that several items had been damaged. During the arrest, police say Marrero was found in possession of a Ring camera that had been removed from the residence without permission.
While officers were processing the incident, a separate individual reported that Marrero had also entered their vehicle without authorization. As a result, she was charged with Petit Larceny (PL 155.25), Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree (PL 145.00(1)), and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle (PL 165.05(1)).
Marrero was transported to Dunkirk Police Headquarters, where she was held for arraignment before Judge John Kuzdale. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
