(WNY News Now) – Randy J. Wright Jr., 42, of Jamestown, faces multiple charges after a reported domestic dispute on the city’s north side.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On December 29, 2025, at approximately 3:00 PM, Jamestown Police responded to a domestic dispute at a residence on the north side of the city.

During the investigation, authorities determined that 42-year-old Randy J. Wright Jr. allegedly struck the victim in the face and obstructed their breathing. Police also confirmed that a valid order of protection was in place between Wright and the victim at the time of the incident.

Wright was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail. He faces charges including Aggravated Criminal Contempt, Assault in the Third Degree, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing.

He is being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
