(WNY News Now) – Two Jamestown residents were taken into custody Friday night following a reported domestic dispute that resulted in damage to a parked vehicle at Foote Avenue Plaza.

JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers with the Jamestown Police Department responded to a report of a fight at the Foote Avenue Plaza on Friday, February 26, at approximately 8:42 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim seated inside a locked vehicle that had sustained visible damage. Police also found one of the suspects, identified as Jasmine M. Davis, 34, of Jamestown, near the scene.

According to investigators, Davis allegedly approached the victim’s vehicle, struck it, and made threats while the victim remained inside. The vehicle was found to have a broken windshield, a damaged driver-side mirror, and food debris on its exterior.

A second suspect, Elijah T. McBride, 23, of Jamestown, was also accused of approaching the vehicle. Police said McBride allegedly threw items at the vehicle and struck the driver-side mirror, causing it to break.

Davis was taken into custody at the scene and charged with Harassment in the Second Degree. McBride fled before officers arrived but was located shortly afterward at a separate location. He was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree in connection with the incident.

Both individuals were transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where they were held pending arraignment on domestic violence-related charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
