(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown man was arrested Saturday morning following a domestic dispute that led to property damage at a residence on the city’s east side, according to the Jamestown Police Department.
Police say officers from the department’s 1st Platoon responded to a reported domestic dispute at about 10:18 a.m. on March 7, 2026. After speaking with the victim, officers determined that Angel M. Torres, 32, of Jamestown, allegedly punched a television belonging to the victim during a verbal altercation.

Authorities said the impact caused the television to break and become unusable.
Torres reportedly fled the scene before officers arrived but was located a short distance away from the residence. Police took him into custody without incident.
Torres was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree, a felony under New York law involving intentional damage to another person’s property.
He was transported to the city jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
