(WNY News Now) – OLEAN, N.Y. — A 38-year-old Olean woman was taken into custody Sunday evening on two outstanding bench warrants and later released following arraignment, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities report that Samantha J. Miller was located by patrol deputies at approximately 5:32 p.m. on North 11th Street in the City of Olean. Deputies confirmed Miller had two active bench warrants issued out of Salamanca City Court.
Miller was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Salamanca Police Department for processing. She was subsequently arraigned in Salamanca City Court.
Following arraignment, Miller was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to return to Salamanca City Court at a later date to answer the charges related to the warrants. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
