(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A 31-year-old Jamestown man is facing multiple charges after a reported domestic incident Monday evening on the city’s south side.

Jamestown Police say officers from the Second Platoon were dispatched at approximately 8:02 p.m. on April 13, 2026, for a report of a disorderly person. The incident was reported to have occurred around 6:00 p.m.

Following an investigation, officers allege that Kevin Lopez threw hot frying grease throughout a kitchen and onto the floors during the incident. Police further report that Lopez threatened another individual with what was described as a dangerous instrument.

Lopez was taken into custody at the scene without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He has been charged with Menacing in the Second Degree, Criminal Tampering in the Third Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.

Lopez is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
