(WNY News Now) – ALLEGANY, N.Y. — A 43-year-old Allegany resident was issued an appearance ticket following an investigation into an incident reported last month, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Patrick F. Kopko was arrested on April 11, 2026, at approximately 1:04 p.m. in connection with an incident that occurred around March 10, 2026, at the same address in the Town of Allegany.

Authorities charged Kopko with Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree following the investigation.

After his arrest, deputies transported Kopko to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office substation in Olean, where he was processed. He was later released with an appearance ticket and is scheduled to answer the charges in a later date in local court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
