The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation focused on allegations involving the possession and promotion of child sexual abuse material. During the investigation, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Barnum Road in Cassadaga. Investigators reportedly seized a large amount of electronic evidence, which was submitted to the Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory in Buffalo for analysis.

In April 2026, investigators received the forensic results and conducted a review of the extracted evidence. Authorities said investigators identified numerous images allegedly depicting children engaged in sexual performances.

As a result of the investigation, Wojcieszyn was taken into custody at a residence in Dunkirk and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

He has been charged with:

  • 10 counts of Promoting an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child under New York State Penal Law 263.10(1)
  • 10 counts of Possessing an Obscene Sexual Performance by a Child under New York State Penal Law 263.11(1)

Wojcieszyn is scheduled to answer the charges in Chautauqua County Supreme Court at a later date. All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
