(WNY News Now) A Jamestown man was arrested Monday morning after police investigating a reported assault determined he allegedly drove while impaired by drugs and with revoked driving privileges.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Officers with the Jamestown Police Department’s First Platoon responded to the area of Baker Street and Prather Avenue at approximately 8:04 a.m. on June 15, 2026, following a report of an assault.
According to police, the investigation found that Brook A. Patterson, 40, of Jamestown, had been involved in a domestic incident and had operated a maroon sedan while his driving privileges were revoked.
Police said further investigation determined Patterson was allegedly driving while under the influence of drugs. He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where authorities reported that he refused to submit to a chemical test to determine the drug content of his blood.
Patterson was charged with Felony Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs (DWAI Drugs) and two counts of Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree.
He was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
