(WNY News Now) – A 24-year-old Jamestown man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Foote Avenue on June 16, according to police.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon conducted a traffic stop on Foote Avenue at approximately 8:52 p.m. on June 16, 2026, after observing alleged traffic infractions.
During the investigation, officers determined that the driver, Zachary B.R. Christopherson, 24, was operating a vehicle while intoxicated, according to police. Christopherson was taken into custody without incident.
Police charged Christopherson with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI with a blood alcohol content over 0.08%, and additional traffic violations.
Following processing, Christopherson was released with uniform traffic tickets and is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
