(WNY News Now) – A 27-year-old Machias man was arrested following an investigation into a reported burglary in the Town of Machias, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports that Justin D. Kulczycki, 27, of Machias, was arrested Aug. 4 in connection with the burglary investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Bureau conducted the investigation into the reported burglary in the Town of Machias.

Kulczycki was charged with Burglary in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Kulczycki was processed and arraigned on the charges. He was remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail in lieu of bail.

The charges are allegations, and Kulczycki is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
