(WNY News Now) – A 58-year-old Falconer man was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief following a reported domestic dispute in the Town of Ellicott.

Town of Ellicott police charged Joseph A. Ferino, 58, of Falconer, with Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Mischief in the Third Degree on August 3, 2026.

According to police, officers responded to a domestic dispute involving Ferino. Police allege that Ferino physically fought with the victim and damaged the victim’s property.

Ferino was arrested and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment.

Police said Ferino is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charges.

The allegations have not been adjudicated in court. A criminal charge is an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
