(WNY News Now) – Two 18-year-old Jamestown residents were arrested after police say a search warrant at a Falconer Street residence uncovered three handguns, fentanyl and drug paraphernalia.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Jamestown Police Department executed a search warrant Thursday morning at a residence on Falconer Street as part of a narcotics investigation.

Police said the department’s SWAT team entered 352 Falconer Street at about 6:33 a.m. on Aug. 6. Alexis Morales-DeJesus and Niderah M. Manuel, both 18 and from Jamestown, were found inside along with three juveniles.

According to police, detectives searching the residence located two revolver-style handguns, a 9mm semi-automatic handgun, a quantity of fentanyl, digital scales, packaging materials and U.S. currency.

Morales-DeJesus and Manuel were each charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree, three counts of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Third and Fourth Degrees, and two counts of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree.

Morales-DeJesus also faces a charge of Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree. Police allege Morales-DeJesus attempted to run back into the residence while the SWAT team was clearing the building.

Morales-DeJesus was arraigned in Jamestown City Court and sent to the Chautauqua County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail. Manuel was also sent to the county jail in lieu of $10,000 bail. Both were being held pending arraignment, according to police.

The investigation was conducted with assistance from the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office and the Jamestown Police Department SWAT Team.

The charges are allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
