(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was arrested as a fugitive after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a property damage accident on I-86 in the Town of Mina on Sunday morning.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a property damage accident on I-86 in the Town of Mina at about 9:53 a.m. on August 23, 2026.

During the investigation, deputies identified the driver as Henry B. Stovall Jr., 49, of Jamestown. A records check determined that Stovall had an active warrant out of Pennsylvania.

Stovall was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail. He was charged with Fugitive of Justice.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Stovall is being held in jail pending an extradition hearing related to the Pennsylvania warrant.

All charges are allegations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
