(WNY News Now) – A 48-year-old Jamestown woman was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance following a probation check on the city’s north side.
Jamestown Police officers, working with Chautauqua County Probation, conducted a probation check at a northside residence on Aug. 28, according to police.
During the investigation, officers determined that Mandy L. Kruise, 48, of Jamestown, was allegedly in possession of a small quantity of cocaine.
Kruise was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, police said.
She was charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree.
Kruise was processed and released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in Jamestown City Court at a later date.
The charge is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
