(WNY News Now) – Dunkirk police are seeking 24-year-old Tywon W. Wright in connection with a June 11 shooting in the City of Dunkirk.

The Dunkirk Police Department said an arrest warrant has been issued for Wright, of Dunkirk. He is wanted on charges of Murder in the Second Degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Second Degree.

Police said the charges stem from a shooting that occurred in Dunkirk on June 11, 2026. The department did not release additional details about the incident.
