(WNY News Now) – A 54-year-old Salamanca man was arrested on DWI charges following a traffic stop on School Street Sunday night, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies assigned to the Seneca Nation Allegany Territory stopped Ronald F. Dulanski Jr. at about 9:15 p.m. Sept. 6 after observing multiple alleged vehicle and traffic law violations.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies conducted an investigation and determined Dulanski was allegedly driving while intoxicated.

Dulanski was taken to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing and a chemical test. He was then released on an appearance ticket and issued multiple uniform traffic tickets.

He is scheduled to appear in Salamanca City Court at a later date.

Dulanski faces charges under New York Vehicle and Traffic Law, including DWI, aggravated DWI, and additional traffic violations, according to the sheriff’s office.

An arrest or charge is an allegation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
